Job summary

M2 Strategy is seeking a highly motivated Mid-level IT Project Manager to join our firm and support our federal government and commercial clients. Our projects are high-profile, fast-paced, and complex, offering opportunities to lead critical initiatives.

This full-time role offers a hybrid work model, with possibility for remote work within the DC Metro area. A BA/BS with 6+ years of PM experience and PMP are preferred; experience with Google Workspace and Jira is valued.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree with a minimum of 6 years of PM or consulting experience.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Jira for project management and reporting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and initiatives supporting federal programs and align with organizational priorities.
• Develop and maintain project charters, IMS, schedules, milestones, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with senior federal officials, scientific leadership, and program stakeholders to communicate status.
• Facilitate collaboration among federal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports, executive briefings, and decision-support materials.
• Track deliverables and monitor progress across multiple initiatives.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and resource constraints with corrective actions.
