M2 Strategy is seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager to support our federal and commercial clients in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. The role requires leading complex projects, coordinating across executives, scientists, and vendors, and driving strategic outcomes in a hybrid/remote setting within the DC Metro area.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS with at least 8 years of consulting, PMP certification, and strong experience with Jira and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree and a minimum of 8 years of consulting experience.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience with Google Workspace for project management tasks.
• Experience with Jira.
• Strong oral and written communication, including presentations.
• Ability to build effective relationships with executives, peers, and clients.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to make critical decisions with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects and initiatives supporting federal programs.
• Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across a growing portfolio.
• Develop charters, IMS, schedules, risk registers, and other PM documentation.
• Communicate status to senior stakeholders and program officials.
• Collaborate with federal, technical, and vendor teams to achieve objectives.
• Identify risks and constraints and propose actionable solutions.
• Establish governance structures and reporting to improve portfolio visibility.
