Job summary

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support IT and business initiatives for a federal law-enforcement client. The PM will lead multiple projects, coordinate stakeholders, manage schedules, risks, and deliverables, applying Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall practices as appropriate.

The position is hybrid in Washington, D.C., with onsite work initially and a mix of onsite/telework days, requiring U.S. citizenship and a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Current Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM, or comparable recognized Agile credential.
• Strong federal stakeholder communication, organization, and written/oral briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to approximately 10 concurrent projects and coordinate scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.
• Lead project planning, status reporting, stakeholder coordination and decision tracking.
• Apply Agile, Kanban and Waterfall methods based on project needs; facilitate appropriate Agile ceremonies.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams Planner/Planner Premium, SharePoint, ServiceNow and other portfolio/project dashboards.
• Coordinate requirements, resources, documentation, quality reviews and timely completion of project outputs.
• Prepare concise customer-ready status information, recommendations, and risk-mitigation actions.
