Job summary

Graham Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with a strong data center background to serve as the primary point of contact for customers' Federal IT Program Managers. This role leads complex federal IT and data center projects, coordinating technical teams, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables within a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on IT project management experience within the Federal Government.
• Demonstrated experience managing data center or major IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading data center deployments, migrations, upgrades, consolidations, modernization initiatives, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Proven ability to plan and execute complex IT programs and projects to achieve defined goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for customers' Federal IT Program Managers, providing effective communication, coordination, and project leadership.
• Lead complex data center and IT infrastructure projects, including data center deployments, migrations, upgrades, consolidations, modernization initiatives, and related infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams supporting servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud connectivity, facilities, security, and other data center technologies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and deliverables.
• Execute projects using both Waterfall and Agile lifecycle methodologies.
• Develop project artifacts including charters, management plans, schedules, requirements, risk registers, status reports, and executive presentations.
• Ensure projects comply with PMO processes, federal requirements, security standards, and lifecycle governance.
• Work across matrixed organizations to coordinate technical resources and accountability for outcomes.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints and develop mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, technical discussions, status reviews, and executive briefings.
• Communicate status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to senior leaders and Federal IT Program Managers.
• Use Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Visio to develop schedules, reports, diagrams, and documents.
• Apply strategic thinking, negotiation, conflict management, prioritization, and time-management to drive project completion.
