Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Capacity Manager to establish ITIL-aligned capacity management processes across enterprise infrastructure in a highly regulated federal IT environment. You will monitor performance, analyze trends, and forecast demand to support budgeting and technology planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure or service management with a focus on performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of capacity management with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across architecture, operations, and business functions.
• Current secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an ITIL-based capacity management framework spanning business, service, and component capacity views.
• Collect and analyze utilization and performance metrics from monitoring tools for servers, virtualization, storage, databases, and networks.
• Build capacity forecasts and "what-if" models using historical trends and planned projects to recommend scaling strategies.
• Produce regular capacity and performance reports and dashboards for leadership and service owners.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations to incorporate capacity into solution designs and release schedules in a regulated government environment.
• Identify and lead capacity optimization initiatives such as rightsizing, consolidation, virtualization, and cloud elasticity.
• Integrate capacity management with incident, problem, and change processes to feed long-term remediation and planning.
