Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Acquisition and Asset Manager to support the Department of State from Fairfax, VA, with occasional travel to customer sites. You will oversee procurement for all acquisitions, track DT/EA/CST assets, manage inventory reviews, renewals, warranties, and identify market trends impacting acquisitions.

Required: a Bachelor's degree with 12 years of enterprise IT planning, inventory/asset management, and federal procurement experience, plus the ability to obtain a public trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in enterprise IT planning, inventory and asset management for Federal Government clients.
• Experience supporting lifecycle asset management, audit responses, and asset tracking for large projects.
• Experience leading acquisition and asset staff for programs of similar size and scope.
• Secret Clearance: ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes for all acquisitions.
• Manage and track DT/EA/CST assets and support bi-annual inventory reviews.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and renewals of maintenance contracts.
• Resolve warranty disputes and identify market trends affecting acquisitions.
