Job summary

Archer, in partnership with TekSynap, seeks an Information Systems Security Officer to lead RMF/A&A, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring for COMSEC IT services supporting DoS. You will develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and coordinate with government security teams.

Requires active TS/SCI, 5+ years in cybersecurity, and FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 experience. Hybrid work in Springfield, VA with potential evenings/weekends as needed to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP.
• Experience supporting government agencies or federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISSO functions for COMSEC systems.
• Support RMF/A&A activities and ATO packages.
• Maintain System Security Plans and POA&M artifacts.
• Coordinate security findings and remediation actions.
• Support continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
