Job summary

Guardians of Honor LLC seeks a Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and deliver a federal internship program. You will connect students from HBCUs, MIs, TCUs, and other eligible institutions with research internship opportunities, liaising with GOH leadership, government partners, mentors, and students throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes building trusted relationships with tribal communities, cultural humility, and responsive outreach.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience supporting student programs, higher-education partnerships, outreach and recruitment, workforce development, program coordination, or a related area.
Experience with applicant portals, CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), SharePoint, Smartsheet or equivalent PM tools, survey platforms, and virtual-event tech.
Experience building relationships with tribal communities and tribal education departments; knowledge of tribal sovereignty and government-to-government engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing support during internship cycles, including outreach, recruitment, application review, housing and stipend processing, and post-internship communications.
Develop outreach materials and conduct activities to promote internships and research experiences.
Support internship applications management and communications regarding selection, housing, stipends, and preparation.
Identify mentors and build relationships with higher education institutions and stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong project coordination and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
