Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Two years’ related work experience.
• Ability to travel between campuses.
• Background check required.
• Knowledge of grant writing and management procedures.
• Knowledge of diverse cultures and immigration trends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and communicate international/intercultural programming, events, and outreach.
• Respond to staff, student, and community inquiries.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain culturally focused partnerships with community orgs and institutions.
• Chair committees involving students, college personnel, and community members.
• Identify and develop international/intercultural grant opportunities.
• Direct assigned grant-funded initiatives.
• Manage budgets for international/intercultural education.
• Liaise with college personnel to coordinate programs and services for student engagement and success.
• Attend work and events consistently; occasional evenings/weekends.
• Travel to other college locations and community sites as needed.
• Develop college policies related to international/intercultural education.
• Engage with faculty, staff, and metropolitan community.
