Job summary

Tesla Laboratories is seeking an Interior Designer to support NAVFAC NW Design Division, providing interior design tasks using Revit for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects in the Puget Sound area.

Education must include a CIDA-accredited program or equivalent, with NCIDQ certification or state licensure. A minimum of 5 years’ experience is required and collaboration with government stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent.
• NCIDQ certification or applicable state licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of interior design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities interior design tasks including room finish schedules, finish plans, and finish boards.
• Create furniture plans and best value determinations; coordinate collateral equipment.
• Coordinate with team members to execute project scope and manage schedules/budgets.
• Develop project dashboards using Power BI, Project, and Excel; track status and milestones.
• Review technical reports, designs, and submittals for compliance with requirements.
• Provide technical support reviews of commissioning plans and field inspections.
