Job summary

TCF Architecture’s Tacoma studio is seeking a creative Interior Designer with 0–5 years of experience who is fluent in Revit and capable of producing polished renderings. You will work across public and civic projects, manage the material library, and collaborate with project architects, engineers, and vendors to translate design intent into buildable documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• 0–5 years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design office.
• Proficiency in Revit for production and documentation.
• Strong rendering and visualization skills with D5 Render or Lumion.
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency; SketchUp a plus.
• Knowledge of FF&E specification and finish materials.
• ADA/accessibility guidelines knowledge.
• Strong eye for color, texture and detail; organized.
• NCIDQ certification or licensure pursuit is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, finish palettes, and material selections aligned with project goals and budget.
• Build and maintain Revit models for interior scopes (finish plans, RCPs, elevations, details).
• Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations for client presentations and design reviews.
• Maintain the material library with samples and vendor relationships.
• Prepare finish schedules, FF&E specifications, and coordinate procurement with vendors.
• Create presentation graphics using Adobe Creative Suite for meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams to integrate interior decisions into broader docs.
• Support construction administration tasks for interiors, including submittals.
