Job summary

Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a Federal HR Assistant to support the Coast Guard’s civilian personnel and pay processing.

Based in the Washington, DC area with potential for remote work, you will code personnel actions, review Official Personnel Folders, and maintain accurate HR records using EmpowHR and the National Finance Center, while safeguarding sensitive information. This substantive role requires four years of federal HR experience and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

At least four years of experience providing federal HR support.
Experience with EmpowHR and National Finance Center.
Knowledge of OPM’s Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.
Experience reviewing federal personnel records and maintaining HR documentation.
Ability to handle Privacy Act and security-sensitive information responsibly.

Responsibilities

Independently code and process federal personnel actions.
Review Official Personnel Folders and related records to validate Service Computation Dates.
Process transactions using EmpowHR and National Finance Center systems.
Maintain accurate HR case files and supporting documentation.
Research applicable HR policies and coordinate with Coast Guard HR personnel.
