Akima is seeking a Mid-Level Human Resource Specialist to support NSWC HR management on-site in Indian Head, MD. The role applies HR experience to analyze processes, support operations, and improve efficiency within a Federal Agency environment.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of HR experience, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and with stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; AA/AS with 2 years equivalent experience acceptable.
• 5+ years experience analyzing, managing, and improving HR processes and functions.
• Experience in a Federal Agency environment desired.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsabilidades

• Provide broad support for all NSWC HR management aspects.
• Analyze and support major HR processes, functions, and organizational requirements.
• Evaluate HR processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.
• Support HR programs and processes improvement.
• Prepare and organize HR information for decision-making.
• Assist with development and improvement of HR processes and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR personnel, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Prepare HR-related reports and materials.
• Work independently and with others to manage HR responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in HR information.
