Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) in the United States is seeking an HR analyst to provide broad support for NSWC human resources management and to analyze and improve major HR processes. You will work with HR personnel and leadership to address organizational needs, prepare documentation, and help drive efficiency and service delivery.

The role requires experience in HR processes, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, management, or related field; AA/AS with 2 extra years may substitute.
• 5 years of recent experience analyzing, managing, and improving major HR processes and functions.
• 2+ years in a Federal Agency environment preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with HR leadership and stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad support for all aspects of NSWC human resources management.
• Analyze and support major HR processes, functions, and organizational requirements.
• Evaluate existing HR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Coordinate with HR personnel, leadership, and stakeholders to address HR needs.
• Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, reports, and materials.
• Work independently and collaboratively to manage assigned HR responsibilities.
