Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support to a federal agency, handling staffing, personnel actions, onboarding, employee administration, records management, and workforce operations. The ideal candidate will bring federal HR experience and strong SF-52 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR operations in a federal government or federal contracting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SF-52 personnel actions.
• Familiarity with OPM and federal HR policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, process, track, and manage SF-52 Requests for Personnel Action through completion.
• Coordinate personnel actions, including appointments, promotions, reassignments, transfers, separations, and other employee changes.
• Support recruitment, staffing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
• Support federal position classification and related HR processes in accordance with applicable OPM and federal agency policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate personnel records, staffing trackers, HR documentation, and status reports.
• Provide HR guidance and responsive customer support to employees, supervisors, hiring managers, leadership, and other HR stakeholders.
• Track personnel actions, approvals, deadlines, and outstanding requirements to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare professional HR correspondence, reports, and workforce communications.
• Handle sensitive and confidential personnel information with appropriate discretion.
• Support compliance with OPM regulations and applicable federal HR policies, procedures, and agency requirements.
• Provide support and guidance related to federal employee lifecycle programs and processes, including recruitment and hiring, classification, staffing, retirement, and employee benefits.
