Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Federal Healthcare Project Manager in Dallas to lead complex healthcare facility projects under USACE/VA/DHA oversight. You will coordinate planning, contracting, drawings, RFIs and change orders while guiding designers, subcontractors and vendors in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

You will also ensure safety compliance and implement 3-phase quality control, estimate and manage both self-performed and subcontracted work, and travel 50%+ to support onsite

Qualifications

• Experience managing federal or military healthcare projects under USACE, VA, or DHA oversight is preferred.
• Ability to read, redline drawings and interpret technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and support onsite execution when required.
• FAR clauses, small business subcontracting plans, and payment workflows (WAWF, IPP) familiarity.
• Federal contracting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare facility outfitting or construction projects.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Manage contracts, drawings, RFIs, change orders, and scope impacts with the government.
• Coordinate onsite installations and key project milestones.
• Lead designers, subcontractors, and vendors in a deadline-driven environment.
• Oversee or support field safety compliance and quality control processes (3-phase).
• Estimate and manage self-performed and subcontracted work activities.
• Travel 50%+ to support onsite execution.
