Job summary

Emergent Method is seeking a highly organized grant, program, or project management consultant to support recurring grant management, tracking, reporting, and follow-up activities for our clients in Baton Rouge. This full-time role focuses on federal and publicly funded programs with subrecipients and workforce initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of grant management or program management experience, strong budgeting and Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of grant, program, or project management experience.
• Experience with federally or state-funded programs and subrecipient monitoring.
• Strong budgeting knowledge, spend tracking, and invoicing understanding.
• Proficiency with Excel, formulas, lookups, and building trackers from scratch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with client coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform recurring grant management, tracking, and reporting with limited oversight.
• Track reporting requirements and deadlines for quarterly and periodic reports.
• Draft and review project and workforce program reports for accuracy.
• Monitor budgets, spending, and subrecipient invoicing and documentation.
• Develop and maintain grant and project trackers and tools.
• Communicate progress and issues with clients and internal teams.
