Job summary

Emergent Method is seeking an organized grant and program management consultant in Baton Rouge to support large-scale, federally funded programs. You will develop trackers, manage reports, and monitor budgets and milestones, collaborating with senior consultants to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in grant or project management, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, economics, or related field.
• Two to three years of grant management, program or project management, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Experience supporting federally or state-funded programs, including grant administration, subrecipient monitoring, financial tracking, reporting, compliance, or workforce development is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with trackers and reports from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Developing, building, and maintaining grant and project management trackers, tools, and systems.
• Drafting, compiling, and reviewing project and workforce program reports for funder requirements.
• Tracking milestones, outcomes, metrics, risks, and performance; reporting progress to goals.
• Monitoring subrecipient budgets, spending, reporting, and documentation; coordinating invoicing and compliance.
• Identifying and escalating reporting, financial, compliance, or performance issues with solutions.
• Communicating with clients, subrecipients, and team; documenting progress and following up.
