Job summary

Talent Center seeks a Firefighter/EMS professional in the Washington, DC area who meets minimum qualifications including Firefighter Level I & II (NFPA 1001) and EMT certification. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Age cap of 37 at appointment unless prior Federal service in related roles.
• Firefighter Level I & II (NFPA 1001).
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
• NFPA/IC certifications per listed requirements.
• Three years of Fire and EMS experience.
• Physical and psychological fitness to lift and move heavy equipment; must lift 125 lbs.
• NFPA 1582 physical standard.
• Experience as attendant-in-charge of ambulance/medic unit.
• Ability to follow directions and apply sound judgment in emergencies.
• Ability to document activities with basic computer software.
