M.C. Dean is hiring a Fire Protection Service Manager for the Federal Market to lead and oversee fire protection service operations across federal accounts. You will manage ITM programs for fire alarms and sprinklers, develop estimates, and support bidding while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and federal requirements.

The role blends office leadership with field coordination, requires travel to federal sites, and demands strong safety, quality, and risk-management discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fire protection service operations
• Experience supporting federal customers or federal service contracts
• Experience overseeing fire alarm and fire sprinkler ITM programs
• Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards (including NFPA 72 and NFPA 25)
• Experience with estimating, bidding, or pricing service-related work
• Requires a Valid driver’s license and may require use of a company vehicle
• Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet federal background, clearance, and site access requirements
• This position has been identified as requiring an additional client background check

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection service operations for federal government customers
• Oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and service activities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
• Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, NFPA standards, and customer procedures
• Manage service managers, coordinators, technicians, and support staff assigned to federal accounts
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet contract performance
• Conduct site surveys and system assessments to support service execution and projects
• Develop service-related estimates, budgets, and pricing for repairs and modifications
• Support bidding efforts for federal ITM contracts and service projects
• Collaborate with account managers on proposal development and technical input
• Monitor service performance, KPIs, and contract deliverables
• Ensure accurate documentation and record retention per federal standards
• Support audits, inspections, and reviews by federal agencies or AHJs
• Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up work
• Support contract modifications and scope management
• Promote safety, quality, and compliance across service teams
• Drive continuous improvement of service processes and compliance
