Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a senior Fire Alarm Inspector 4 to lead inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems. The role emphasizes expert diagnostics, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating large-scale projects in a security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of fire alarm system inspection, testing and preventive maintenance.
• Provide expert-level diagnostics for challenging fire alarm issues to maintain optimal functionality.
• Oversee testing of interconnected systems including sprinkler and pre-action systems per NFPA 72.
• Mentor junior technicians and conduct training.
• Plan and supervise large-scale fire alarm projects with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare documentation like testing plans and schedules.
