Job summary

TJFACT LLC seeks a Financial Manager to join the NCO NITRD team in the Washington, DC area. The role supports the Director and Deputy Director in financial management, budgeting, tracking expenditures, and interagency fund transfers.

Responsibilities include gathering expenditure data, drafting the NNCO/NCO NITRD budget, providing monthly status reports, reviewing bills for compliance with the contract budget and federal laws, and coordinating with NSF staff to ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Federal laws and regulations governing contract staff.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather data on prior year expenditures and assess budgetary implications.
• Assist in preparing the NNCO and NITRD budget and its presentation to subcommittees.
• Provide monthly status reports on expenditures and projections.
• Prepare draft letters for interagency fund transfers and review with NSF staff.
• Ensure bills comply with contract budget and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with NSF to ensure timely payment of approved invoices.
