Job summary

TJFACT is seeking a well-qualified Financial Manager to join the NCO NITRD team in the Washington, DC area. You will provide experienced financial support to the NCO NITRD Director and Deputy Director, covering budget development, tracking expenditures, and interagency funding documents.

You will work with NSF financial staff to prepare monthly status reports, ensure timely payments, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting is required.
• 6–10 years of relevant federal financial experience.
• Knowledge of federal laws and contract requirements.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; experience with government systems.

Responsibilities

• Gather data on expenditures and analyze budgetary implications.
• Assist in preparing draft budgets and presenting to subcommittees.
• Provide monthly expenditure reports by month and category.
• Prepare interagency transfer letters and coordinate with NSF staff.
• Finalize transfer documents and ensure correct NSF accounts.
• Review incoming bills for compliance with budget and Federal law.
• Coordinate with NSF or contractor staff to ensure timely payments.
