Job summary

CGS is seeking a Financial Investigator to join our team providing legal support and investigative services to a large federal agency. This role requires planning and conducting investigations, analyzing financial data, and presenting evidence for litigation.

You will collaborate with paralegals and attorneys, use electronic databases, prepare reports, and testify when required. A four-year investigative background, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain background adjudication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in planning and conducting civil or criminal complex investigations concerning misuse of public, private, or insurance funds.
• Working knowledge of current investigative techniques including the use of commercial databases and other sources of information.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
