Qualifications

• A degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours in business law).
• Combination of education and experience with 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing, plus professional accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, validation, and reconciliation of fund accounts across multiple financial management systems.
• Process and record complex accounting transactions including obligations, disbursements, cost accruals, accounts payable/receivable, and resolve out-of-balance conditions in financial reports.
• Administer fund control activities including certifying fund availability and tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot financial management information systems to identify and resolve accounting issues affecting data integrity and system performance.
• Reconcile financial data from multiple internal and external systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare financial reports, trial balance reconciliations, and transactions supporting annual audited statements.
