Job summary

Deloitte is seeking candidates to join the Government & Public Services GPS practice to support federal finance transformations, focusing on Controllership and Treasury. You will work with government clients to strengthen accounting operations, controls, and data-driven decision making.

As part of the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will contribute to audit readiness, asset accountability, and financial data analysis, collaborating with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI or TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required.
• 1+ years of federal financial management or GAAP, GL, reconciliations, FIAR, FISCAM, or related areas.
• Experience with SQL, data validation, reporting, or control testing is preferred.
• Experience in consulting or project-based delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support federal accounting operations and application of GAAP.
• Perform analyses of general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and COA structures.
• Assist with internal controls, audit readiness, FIAR, and FISCAM-aligned activities.
• Support PP&E, OM&S, IUS, inventory, and asset accountability.
• Conduct data validation, control testing, and SQL-based analyses to support client objectives.
