Job summary

RDR, Inc. is seeking an early-career financial/compliance professional to support Federal missions from Chantilly, VA.

You will review financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and assist with federal financial reporting activities in a fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle, collaborating with experienced teammates and client personnel while contributing to diverse project tasks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in government financial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM is a plus.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or analyzing financial statements for U.S. Federal government entities; familiarity with the USSGL is preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial and systems processes and controls.
• Willingness to travel to support project needs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and evaluating financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transaction processes, including internal controls for Federal entities
• Support the review and assessment of Federal financial business processes and financial statements
• Contribute across the project lifecycle, including scope definition, business case development, vendor assessments, requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and implementation
• Help develop and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to expand support
• Prepare, analyze, and communicate reports and findings clearly, logically, and concisely
