Job summary

Peraton is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our program’s financial operations in Washington, DC. You will partner with the Program Manager to ensure accurate budgeting, data analysis, and adherence to government financial processes.

The role involves coordinating RFIs, data calls, and monthly financial reporting, tracking spend plans, and supporting MIPR and contracting actions while contributing to enterprise-wide consolidation efforts and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; additional 4 years may be substituted.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a Polygraph.
• Experience in financial analysis or government budgeting/finance.
• Strong understanding of federal financial systems and processes (e.g., DARTS, MIPR).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the program’s financial operations with budgeting and data analysis.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to collect and analyze financial data for RFIs related to program financial management.
• Coordinate and manage periodic data calls with Service Intelligence Centers to consolidate financial information.
• Develop and route financial documentation including spend plans, CBJC/CJB language, LPL items, budget submissions and RECLAMA statements, and monthly reports on obligations and expenditures.
• Respond to CFO taskings as needed and track spend plan changes; support MIPR and contracting actions.
• Serve as Travel and Reporting Track Manager, ensuring compliance.
• Execute additional duties as defined in the PWS.
