Job summary

RDR, Inc. is seeking an early-career financial professional to support Federal missions. You will review financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and assist with federal financial reporting activities while gaining hands-on experience across the project lifecycle and client engagements.

Ideal candidates have a degree in accounting or business and familiarity with government reporting standards. A TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and evaluating financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transaction processes, including internal controls for Federal entities
• Support the review and assessment of Federal financial business processes and financial statements
• Contribute across the project lifecycle, including scope definition, business case development, vendor assessments, requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and implementation
• Help develop and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to expand support
• Prepare, analyze, and communicate reports and findings clearly, logically, and concisely

Requirements Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in government financial management, focusing on Federal financial reporting or auditing aligned with OMB guidance, FASAB standards, and GAO Yellow Book
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM is a plus
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or analyzing financial statements for U.S. Federal government entities; familiarity with the USSGL is preferred
• Ability to analyze financial and systems processes and controls
• Willingness to travel to support project needs
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)
