Job summary

Procon Consulting in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Facility Program Manager to support design, construction, and facility management for a federal facility. You will coordinate moves, space planning, and lease administration across complex projects.

The ideal candidate has a PM certification (PMP/CMAA), 10+ years of federal facility experience, and excellent scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration skills. A security clearance is required and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; 10+ years experience.
• PMP or CMAA Certification.
• Experience managing construction in occupied Federal Government facilities.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and project controls.
• Experience coordinating with Federal Government Agencies, A/E firms, contractors, and suppliers.
• Proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera.
• Ability to lead facility construction activities and progress meetings.
• Experience with AutoCAD documents.
• Experience managing a team of 4+ direct reports.
• Must pass a Federal Government suitability background for HSPD-12 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate office moves including telephones, IT, furniture, and other requirements.
• Propose deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress; prepare status reports.
• Be familiar with federal regulations, best practices, and procedures across functions.
• Support task management, scheduling, and communications with Government Client.
• Coordinate with Agency personnel, Service Providers, Client PM and tenants.
• Help provide resources and tools to meet operational needs.
• Lead contractor staff and manage data and personnel tasks.
• Develop tracking methods for budgets and KPIs; monitor expenditures.
• Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines for project delivery.
• Perform quality control per client standards (AIA).
• Communicate updates to client; serve as primary contact.
• Resolve discrepancies; conduct weekly briefs and adjust plans.
• Develop and implement guidelines/process improvements; AI tools preferred.
• Speak/understand English at professional level.
