Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support CBP Patrol Stations across the Southwest, delivering scope, schedule, cost and quality with CBP stakeholders. You may lead a team of field staff and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires managing procurement, design, construction, commissioning and turnover, with travel to sites. Hybrid work policy applies and base salary ranges from $145,000 to $170,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a responsible-in-charge Project Manager within a engineering/construction/program management organization.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction technologies, contract management, project delivery methods, and team leadership.
• Professional certifications (PE/RA/CCM/PMP/DBIA) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with federal construction programs and CBP or other federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface with CBP project managers and contractors.
• Lead project execution planning and coordinate delivery from planning through closeout.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and KPIs.
• Direct multidisciplinary on-site teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, verify end-user requirements, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate interfaces across facility, site, utility, and infrastructure.
• Manage change requests, RFIs, contract modifications, and documentation.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and vendor management.
• Ensure compliance with codes, CBP requirements, and Jacobs safety policies.
• Identify risks; lead readiness reviews, inspections, and turnover activities.
• Travel to project sites and perform field oversight.
