Job summary

Procon seeks a Facility Manager to support a high-visibility federal facilities program, overseeing operations, construction project execution, and QA activities. The ideal candidate has federal facilities experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

The role requires coordinating with government personnel, contractors, and engineers to ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and safety requirements while leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience managing federal facilities, construction projects, quality assurance programs, or infrastructure initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, organizational, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications such as CFM, BOMI, IFMA, or similar credentials preferred.
• Experience supporting DoD, IC, or other secure federal facilities programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations by conducting site inspections, identifying deficiencies, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Oversee facility renovation and construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, permits, schedules, safety requirements, and contract specifications.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, architects, engineers, and project teams to support planning, design reviews, scheduling, construction oversight, and project execution.
• Review contractor proposals, develop scopes of work, prepare planning documents, perform technical and feasibility studies, and provide contract administration support.
• Conduct building code compliance reviews, evaluate construction documents, and coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across architectural, structural, civil, and electrical disciplines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) plans while overseeing Contractor Quality Control (CQC) compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project controls, schedules, quality metrics, risks, reporting, and closeout documentation, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, and warranties.
• Lead QA/QC meetings, coordinate project communications, and collaborate with government stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.
