Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to support the legal team within a federal agency. You will log productions, digest lengthy cover letters, and determine load readiness for Relativity while following strict security protocols. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Responsibilities include virus-scanning, coordinating password requests, and ensuring data completeness.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree; Three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Excellent analytical and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest long cover letters and describe production contents briefly.
• Obtain passwords from producing party if encrypted and password is missing.
• Determine if materials qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus-scan productions off-network using multiple protection tools.
