Job summary

Steampunk seeks a Power Platform Solution Architect to design, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for federal environments. You will lead architecture, configuration, customization, and integration efforts to enable secure, scalable business processes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and analysts, driving solution design and data migration while ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and accessibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one Dynamics 365 module (CE/CRM, F&O, or Power Platform).
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of Dataverse, plugin development, and API integrations.
• Prior experience supporting federal government clients or contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, configuration, and customization decisions.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with government stakeholders to translate business needs into Dynamics solutions.
• Design, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 modules.
• Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, plugins, Power Automate flows, and custom entities.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and interoperability between Dynamics 365 and other federal systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, Section 508).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and functional analysts.
• Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Document system design, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
