Job summary

Sonatype is seeking a Federal Customer Success Manager to lead post-sale engagements with U.S. government customers, driving adoption, value realization, and renewal confidence across a scaled portfolio.

You will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align outcomes with customer goals, oversee health signals, mitigate risk, and surface growth opportunities, while applying GenAI to improve planning and communications.

Qualifications

• You are a US civilian.
• 4-6 years of Federal Customer Success or related roles.
• Experience with civilian agencies, DoD, or Intelligence Community.
• Ability to navigate complex government stakeholder environments.
• Technical acumen in modern software development lifecycles (DevOps, OSS governance).
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to educate and lead discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured customer motions to accelerate onboarding, adoption, and time-to-value.
• Drive adoption, retention, growth, and long-term advocacy with government customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, Support, Product, and Services to orchestrate expertise.
• Use GenAI to improve outputs while applying sound judgment and maintaining data handling.
