Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Project Manager to lead multi-discipline design projects for DoD and Federal Civilian clients, from design kickoff through construction, in a hybrid work environment.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets; serve as primary client contact; develop proposals with discipline leads; drive QA and team collaboration; and help strengthen long-term relationships.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Architecture, client-facing PM experience, and PMI credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture
• Experience as a client facing Design Project Manager managing multiple disciplines
• PMI Certification or PMI credential preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, completed on time, within project budgets and scope
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the client from beginning to end
• Develop the project proposal fees and scope with discipline directors and design leads and lead fee negotiations with the client
• Facilitate the creation of communication plans and ensure information exchange among key stakeholders
• Monitor and manage financial project metrics, schedules and staffing
• Guide the development and quality of project documents in line with Jacobs Quality Program
