Job summary

Jacobs in Boston seeks a Project Manager with Civil Works experience to lead design projects for DoD and Federal Civilian clients, including locks, dams, flood infrastructure, and coastal engineering, across Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery.

You will manage budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project documentation, mentor staff, and engage in a hybrid work model while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 15 years of professional experience designing civil works infrastructure.
• Experience managing multi-discipline Civil Works projects.
• Professional Registration as a PE is preferred.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time and within budget.
• Serve as primary client contact from start to finish.
• Develop project proposals and scopes and lead fee negotiations.
• Create communication plans and conduct status meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor financial metrics, schedules, and staffing for each project.
• Ensure quality of project documents and adherence to Jacobs Quality Program.
