Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics.
• Proficiency with Python and/or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases.
• Experience developing statistical, predictive, or machine learning models.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to translate business or mission requirements into analytical approaches and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address mission and business needs.
• Apply regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and hypothesis testing techniques.
• Develop data pipelines and repeatable analytical processes for reporting and decision-making.
• Use Python, R, SQL to manipulate data and build models.
• Create dashboards/reports using Power BI or Tableau for stakeholders.
