Job summary

Optiv + ClearShark is seeking a Federal Controller to direct all accounting functions and establish/practice reporting, policies, and initiatives. The role reports to the President with indirect reporting to Finance leadership.

Hybrid position requiring on-site presence at Chantilly, VA 3-4 days per week. Responsibilities include month-end close, financial reporting, and coordinating with auditors and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of solid accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SEC rules, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• 5–10 years managing Costpoint ERP system.
• Experience with DCAA, CAS, and FAR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, finance, and related functions.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate and report financial performance to management.
• Oversee accounts payable and working capital management.
• Lead and develop the Federal Finance and Accounting team.
