Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Federal Contracts Specialist to coordinate, administer, and track awards for US federal programs. You will handle complex, high-value contracts and work with multiple client programs, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables and independent decision making.

The role allows nationwide placement with Stantec offices, including Sacramento, in a fast-paced environment. You will review FAR terms, manage contract status, and provide financial reporting support while collaborating

Qualifications

Knowledge of procurement and contracting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with FAR and government contracting terminology preferred.
Familiarity with SAM, FPDS, eSRS, CPARS is a plus.
Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities with sound judgment.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret contracts and FAR clauses for compliance.
Monitor contract progress and maintain status reports.
Collaborate with project teams and risk management to translate requirements into documents.
Support the Federal Contracts Team in daily activities and data processing.
Contribute to process improvements in policies, procedures and workflows.
Prepare financial reporting and participate in planning sessions.
