Job summary

Kaizen Labs seeks an experienced contracts professional to own and manage our federal obligation register across multiple agency agreements. You will drive compliance calendars, advise on pricing and risk, and coordinate closely with legal, security, and deployment teams to ensure timely signatures.

You will serve as the primary liaison with COs/AOs on active contracts and guide subcontractor onboarding, flowdowns, and vendor relationships to support rapid, compliant bidding and execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of federal contracts or subcontract administration on the contractor side.
• FAR and DFARS fluency with flowdown matrices and applicability thresholds.
• Experience building or managing a compliance register or calendar.
• DoD contract experience including FAR-based awards or other transaction agreements.
• GSA Schedule administration and related pricing / BPA activities.
• Direct submissions into SAM, PIEE or WAWF.
• Experience managing subcontractors or teaming partners against scope and milestones.
• Negotiation experience on federal contracts, not just post-award admin.
• Familiar with data rights and IP provisions in federal software contracts.
• Eligible to work with CUI.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the obligation register across every federal agreement, updating with mods.
• Manage the compliance calendar: training certificates, notices, and annual filings.
• Advise on structure, pricing justification, and risk to signatures.
• Interact with government COs/AOs on active contracts as primary interface.
• Coordinate with People Ops, IT, security and deployment teams on contract matters.
• Oversee onboarding of subcontractors and ensure scope/timelines are met.
• Route executions and track ownership across internal teams.
• Assist BD and capture teams with contract strategy and T&C risk.
