Actalent is seeking a Federal Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site activities for a secure naval installation in Tampa, FL. You will manage field operations, interpret drawings, ensure EM 385-1-1 compliance, and coordinate with SSHO and QCM.

This contract role requires 10+ years in construction, federal project experience, and strong leadership to maintain safety, schedule, and quality on a high-stakes project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in construction.
• Experience as Superintendent on large projects.
• Federal or comparable large-scale projects experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for a federal project.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations and schedule progress.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for field execution.
• Ensure EM 385-1-1 safety compliance and hazard control.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain quality and safety.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting.
• Communicate with Contracting Officer on progress and issues.
