Job summary

Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on projects across FL, GA, and AL, including Tyndall AFB and NSA-PC in Panama City, FL. You will manage staff and subs, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence under IDIQ programs.

The role requires 10–15 years’ construction experience, travel ~10–15%, and strong ability to read drawings and report progress. Proactive leadership and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of construction field/trade experience.
• Construction degree preferred but not required.
• Certifications required within 30 days: REAL ID, CQM, OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1.
• Ability to obtain and retain base access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site operations and manage subcontractors.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and reporting throughout contracts.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (EM 385-1-1, OSHA).
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Prepare daily reports and project documentation.
• Support pre-construction, submittals, and design reviews.
• Mitigate risks and maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Coach and mentor field staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain warranty tracking and support opportunities.
