Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to oversee the company’s safety program across federal construction and environmental projects in Washington, DC.

The role includes leading safety policies, overseeing SSHOs, and ensuring compliance with USACE EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and EPA requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in demolition, asbestos and regulated-material abatement, hazard analysis, and incident investigations, with travel to project sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field, or 15 years of directly relevant safety experience.
• Minimum 10 years safety experience in general industry and construction; 15 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience managing safety programs for demolition, abatement, heavy construction, or similarly hazardous projects.
• Experience supervising or providing technical direction to SSHOs or equivalent safety personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage safety program for federal construction and environmental projects.
• Establish and maintain safety policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Ensure consistent implementation of safety requirements across multiple project sites.
• Provide safety guidance to project managers, superintendents, SSHOs, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with USACE Safety Office and Government representatives regarding inspections and safety documentation.
• Develop, review, and approve Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Oversee safety inspections, audits, investigations, and ensure compliance.
