Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects in the DMV area, from interiors renovations to ground-up builds. You will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client relations while coordinating with Superintendents, safety teams, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management in construction, federal project experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Federal construction experience is required.
• Experience managing new construction and/or interior renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage federal construction projects ranging from approximately $2M to $25M.
• Oversee one or multiple projects depending on experience and project complexity.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Quality Control Managers, Safety personnel, subcontractors, and clients.
• Monitor project performance, schedules, and financial outcomes.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and contract administration.
• Conduct periodic site visits throughout the DMV region, typically twice per month.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
