Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide engineering, construction management, and contract administration support for federal construction projects at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.

The selected candidate will review contractor performance, monitor project schedules, evaluate QA activities, manage documentation, and guide project execution. Collaborate with Government personnel, contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure safety, on-schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 7–10 years of engineering/construction/PM experience or 10+ years managing construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred.
• MILCON/SRM project experience preferred; strong contract administration and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review Quality Assurance for technical accuracy and code interpretation.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance and contract compliance.
• Document principal construction features, plans, submittals, and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Maintain awareness of contractor activities to prevent delays.
• Assist in negotiation/change order documents and provide government guidance on contracts.
