Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Project Engineer in Massachusetts to coordinate project information, manage costs, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the change management process under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Participates in monthly cost report meetings with data/talking points.
• Adheres to cost control, pay requests and cost reporting procedures.
• Expedites material deliveries.
• Reviews and evaluates shop drawings.
• Identifies opportunities for innovative problem solving and process improvements.
• Develops business by understanding client needs and articulating Gilbane’s value.
• Fosters customer-centric teamwork and positive relations.
• Coaches junior team members and supports an inclusive work environment.
