Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Project Engineer to help the project team maintain timelines, budgets, and quality by coordinating all related project information and documentation. You will interact with design partners, trade contractors, and clients to support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manages change management process under the Project Manager.
• Participates in monthly cost report meetings with data points.
• Performs monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting.
• Expedites material deliveries.
• Reviews shop drawings for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manages the change management process effectively under the direction of the Project Manager
• Serves as a key player in monthly cost report meetings and contributes with meaningful data/talking points
• Adheres to the project controls procedures to include monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting successfully

• Reviews and evaluates shop drawings accurately

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

For (Massachusettes) this ranges from $97,300-$121,700 plus benefits and retirement program.
