Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum ten (10) years of related construction experience and in managing construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction programs and agencies.
• Thorough understanding of drawings, specifications, and general contractor/subcontractor documents.
• Proficiency with FAR and agency supplements; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for assigned projects to meet safety, funding, and schedule objectives.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS (if applicable), agency supplements, and contract clauses.
• Develop and manage CPM schedules and cost-loaded schedules as required.
• Oversee quality control plans and site safety programs; manage budget, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier compliance with federal labor standards; prepare pay applications and change orders.
• Attend preconstruction, progress, and closeout meetings; liaise with government representatives.
• Assist in closeout with as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and final acceptance.
