Texas A&M University in Laredo seeks a student assistant for the Community Relations and Special Events department. The role involves providing general information services at the Student Center and assisting with clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, and filing.

Position requires on campus, face‑to‑face interactions. Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Work schedules are created by the department based on departmental needs but ensure it does not conflict with class schedule. Promptly complete all required training. Input hours worked daily and submit timesheet biweekly.
$8.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly. All positions are security-sensitive.
